Personalized caricatures in the fabulous Phil Singer style. Phil will be drawing free caricatures from 12:00 – 5:00 outside the Community/Business Tent. Sign up early as sittings go fast.

This year Niska-Day will again feature free pony rides and a petting zoo by Ponies for Hire. There will also be grain available to purchase for feeding the goats, chicks and bunny. This event will run from 12:00 to 5:00 on the grounds.

Snakes! Lizards! Tortoises and turtles!  Would you want to touch them?!?  You can, with the supervision by the educators of Reptile Adventure. This event will run from 12:00 to 5:00 on the grounds.

Be amazed as faces are transformed in front of your eyes, as styled by the brilliant Bon Bon. Face painting will be free of charge from 1:00 – 3:00 in the Community/Business Tent.

Look… up in the sky… it’s a bird… it’s a plane… No, it’s Sparkles the Tall Juggler performing her juggling skills on stilts. She’s LITERALLY 8 feet tall! The little ones will love to watch Sparkles show off her juggling skills wandering the crowd from 12:00 – 2:00.

We’re so happy that Merdwin will be joining us again this year! Who doesn’t love watching a wizard do his magic, even if his tricks sometimes do not go exactly as planned? Merdwin will be performing on stage in the Entertainment Tent at 1:00.

You will be delighted by the polished and gleeful a capella sounds of the NHS Studio Singers in the Entertainment Tent from 12-12:30.

Dive into the heart of fun with Mr. Twisty, the region's premier entertainer for kids and families! Whether it's a burst of laughter or a burst of color, Mr. Twisty's shows are packed with moments that turn any day into a celebration. 3:00-4:00 in the Entertainment Tent.

Come shake it down for an hour and let us hear your best singing! Ryan has Hot 100 hits, old school hip hop and clean tik-toks for all of you who have the heart of a teenager.  $100 in prizes of food vendor vouchers to the top performers! 3:00-4:00 in the Entertainment Tent.

Coming back for the fireworks and looking to add a bit of “flair “for the evening? Look for the tent out on the soccer field from 5:00-7:00 to get transformed into a puppy, tiger or butterfly. 

New at Niska Day in 2025, jazz in the afternoon!  Come out to the big lawn and enjoy the sounds!  The Cribtet is a six-piece band with roots in hard bop jazz, formed from the Hartt School in Connecticut.  Local connection Dan Jantson brings you the beats and rhythms on the drums and is joined by five other young players who come from across the country.  The Cribtet play original tunes and do classics too.  4:00-6:00 on the Main Stage.

The Schmooze has remained one of the area’s top Dance Party Bands for over 15 years!  Playing a wide variety of the most popular rock, pop, dance and country songs, they will set up the evening and usher in the fireworks finale properly.  Da Schmooze play all the songs that made a lot of other bands really famous!  Taking the Main Stage at 7:00.
